Henkel
As a principal and President, Tim Henkel is responsible for all aspects of Pennrose’s national development strategy and has been instrumental in Pennrose’s growth in key markets across the country. In January 2025, Tim will assume the role of CEO to guide the company into thoughtful growth, aligned with development and property management objectives and Pennrose’s mission of transforming communities.
Tim began his career at Pennrose in 1999, became a principal in 2008, and was named President in 2022, a role in which he made significant contributions to the company's diversification and regional expansion. In 2023, Tim was pivotal in the creation and launch of Contour Housing Partners, a housing preservation firm focused on shaping the country’s housing landscape through strategic investments in communities of need, including the acquisition and preservation of existing affordable housing.
Tim currently serves on the boards of the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association and New Jersey Apartment Association. He is an alumni board member of the William E. Simon School of Business and serves on the board of Citizens Housing Planning Council in New York City. He previously served on the boards of Penn Reach and Triple C Housing, two nonprofits dedicated to helping people with special needs find homes and services. Tim is a frequent panelist and speaker at national and regional real estate development and finance events.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master of Business Administration from the William E. Simon School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester
