Weissman
Paul Weissman is senior managing director, head of affordable housing production at Lument, where he oversees the firm’s affordable housing production, sales, and business development initiatives.
Paul has over 20 years of experience in multifamily housing, including development, tax credit syndication, lending, and investment banking. He has been involved in the development and financing of more than $5 billion in multifamily transactions over the course of his career, utilizing nearly every financial assistance program available, including tax-exempt bond financing, HUD Section 8 subsidies, Sections 202 and 232 subsidies, low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs), HOPE VI, FHA tax credit pilot program, the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and more.
Prior to joining Lument predecessor Hunt Real Estate Capital, Paul was a senior vice president at Dougherty & Company, a director with Credit-Suisse, and a vice president at Newman Capital. He began his career in affordable housing as an associate general counsel for Simpson Housing Limited Partnership.
Paul holds an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado Boulder and a Juris Doctor from University of Colorado Law School.
