Michael LoStocco is a Vice President with PGIM Real Estate, focused on Affordable Housing production and strategy across its FHA and Agency platforms.
Michael is a MAP-approved underwriter, with expertise in underwriting and structuring complex transactions using 4% LIHTCs/tax exempt bonds, project-based rental assistance, local/state subsidies and tax incentives and various public housing conversion/disposition programs. Since joining PGIM Real Estate in 2017, Michael has obtained approximately $800 million in FHA and Agency financing commitments.
Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate in 2017, Michael was a Deputy Director at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, where he was instrumental in the roll out of the city’s mandatory inclusionary housing program.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Community & Regional Planning from Temple University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans. Michael is member of the MBA’s Affordable Rental Housing Advisory Council as well as its FHA and LIHTC Committees. He is a founding member of the Eastern Lender’s Association Emerging Professional’s Group and active in several mentorship and professional development programs at PGIM.
