Katherine has seven years of experience underwriting multifamily affordable transactions at the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA). Katherine and her team collaborate with other public housing authorities, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, not-for-profit and for-profit sponsors to finance affordable housing projects across the state of Illinois. Katherine’s team focuses on multifamily first mortgage originations and 4% tax-exempt bond executions. Before joining IHDA, Katherine was a Commercial Real Estate Underwriter for Old National Bank for three years, where she evaluated approximately $300 million in commercial loan opportunities for a variety of geographic markets and asset classes including multifamily, office and retail. Katherine graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015, with a degree in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Marketing. During her time at Madison, she held internships at Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) and Dominium Development & Acquisitions. Katherine has recently picked up Musky fishing as a hobby.
