Jeff has been in the affordable housing field for 28 years and is responsible for the ownership and management of 150 properties in 20 states. These developments include over 20,000 apartment homes and have utilized some form of conventional or government financing including housing tax credits and/or tax-exempt bond financing, HUD, FNMA, Freddie Mac, private placements, and life insurance companies. All totaled, KPG’s portfolio represents more than $3 billion in investments.

Kittle Property Group is the successor to companies that have been around since 1948 and has developed and managed multi-family homes for over 60 years. KPG develops, builds, owns, and manages rental housing in 20 states and has over 550 team members. KPG places great emphasis on human capital development, which is represented by an excellent team of highly experienced senior leaders with more than 300 years of experience.

With Jeff’s help, Kittle Property Group was recognized as Affordable Housing Finance’s 7th largest development firm and the 11th largest owner, and the National Multifamily Housing Council’s 21st largest developer and 24th largest builder. Over the last several years Jeff has been active within the apartment industry, including sitting on the steering committee for the National Association of Home Builders Housing Credit Group, and the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition. Jeff is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Tiger 21, Board Member of Kittle’s Home Furnishings Center, Inc., Crew Carwash, Second Presbyterian Church Endowment Board, the Indiana University Center for Real Estate, and Kittle Property Family Foundation.

An Indianapolis native, Jeff graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Later he attendedIndiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance. Jeff holds five certificates of completion of Executive Education from the Harvard Business School. Jeff also holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses. Jeff is active in various community and civic organizations in Indianapolis where he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, golfing, skiing, and watching his daughters participate in competitive tennis.
