Thom Amdur serves as the Senior Vice President for Policy & Impact at Lincoln Avenue Capital.  He is responsible for leading Lincoln Avenue Capital’s public affairs, state and federal policy advocacy as well as impact initiatives.  Thom is a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing and community development policy.  

Prior to joining Lincoln Avenue Capital, Thom served in a number of successive leadership roles at the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA), including most recently as its President.  NH&RA is a national trade association and peer-network for affordable housing and tax credit developers and related professionals.  During his tenure at NH&RA, Thom lead nationally recognized policy initiatives and advocacy campaigns and received the NHP Foundation’s Affordable Housing Advocacy Award in 2018.

Thom contributes to numerous community development organizations, non-profits and coalitions.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for the International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology (ICAST), the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, the Multifamily Impact Council and the Housing Partnership Equity Trust.  Additionally, he also serves as the Executive Director of Fairview Housing Partners, a national non-profit dedicated to affordable housing development and advocacy.  

Thom has provided expert testimony and comments before numerous federal and state government agencies.  He is a frequent speaker at affordable housing, sustainable development and tax credit industry events and has been published in a variety of industry journals including Tax Credit Advisor, Independent Banker, and the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits.
